August 5th-9th | Practice 7:00 PM-8:30 PM Snow Canyon Rugby Field

This week we will be picking up the pace at practice. For those of you that WHERE at practice last week please arrive at the Rugby field by 6:45 in full pads. Make sure that you have mouth guards, chin straps and plenty of water. We will be hitting this week so expect to be sore in the evenings. Proper hydration, rest and nutrition is essential this week. Lay off the soda, fried foods and salty snacks. Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of good carbs; potatoes, rice, bread, fruit and veggies are all good options. 

If you WHERE NOT at practice last week, arrive in Helmets, Shorts and T-Shirts with cleats at 6:45. Also bring plenty of water. You will not be allowed to hit Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday 
(the league requires a 3 day conditioning period before contact), so you will be doing speed and agility conditioning for those three days and then move into full contact on Thursday and Friday. The same suggestions apply for hydration, rest and nutrition. 

If you still have equipment issues(do not have mouth guard, pads, pants...ect), or you have not registered with USA YOUTH FOOTBALL you will not be allowed to hit. You will be doing speed and agility conditioning until you are fully equipped and prepared. Please contact my self or Coach Nuatski or Kitchens with any questions, concerns or comments. 

Also, if you were not at the parent meeting, it was announced that on Saturday Coach Kitchens and I will be having the draft to divide the 2 teams. This year, per league requirements, there will be a non accelerated and an accelerated team (A&B).  If you or your son have a requests to play on the Non accelerated (B) team, for whatever reason, please contact Coach Carty or Coach Kitchens. We should be able to make that happen.
