Weigh Ins Tonight

For all of those who missed the weigh in 2 weeks ago, there will be a weigh in tonight after practice. If you have already weighed in you WILL NOT be allowed to re-way in an effort to get under the 150 X-Man cut off. We as a coaching staff DO NOT encourage any player to try to "cut weight" by starving, dieting or dehydrating in an effort to get under 150 lbs. We need healthy, strong football players out there. There are 11 positions on each side of the ball that need to be filled. To ensure adequate playing time for all players, the best combination of players will be selected for each position, regardless of weight. In other words, even if a player weighs less than 150 lbs he may still play the bulk of his time on the line.
As Coach Nowatzke puts it.... You won't have control over where you play, you will only have control over your attitude and effort.
It will be hot tonight. In excess of 100. Please bring plenty of water to drink during practice.  Let's work hard in preparation for Midnight Madness. Please bring your play books tonight as I will be adding to them.
